The Broker - What It Is
TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something this new, that coverage is broad.
The Software
Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That should be a good addition when it lands.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.
Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Here is the part that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It does inform your assessment.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
